expenseBrain is pursuing the vision of fully automated, end-to-end travel expense reporting. We want manual input to be a thing of the past and a massive reduction in employee time. For this purpose, we are constantly in dialogue with customers and suppliers and drive innovations together.

Back to 2001

Long before the "cloud" even became established, our current employees were active in travel management - at that time with products marketed as "ASP" or "BPO".

Our team members gathered experience from a variety of implemented travel management systems in various countries before Managing Director Michael Zwickl laid the foundations for today's expenseBrain GmbH in 2013, bundling the competencies of the newly founded GmbH into one company.

expenseBrain 2015 was originally founded as a travel management consulting and service organisation, but now we focus on "full process" solutions based on travel management systems from leading providers. Today we have four permanent employees and twelve freelancers in Germany and can call on other experts from all over the world at any time.
